Samsung Electronics is deploying ChatGPT Enterprise and Codex to all employees in Korea and to all Device eXperience (DX) employees worldwide, according to OpenAI.
OpenAI described the rollout as one of its largest enterprise deployments to date.
Samsung said the tools will be used across software development, marketing, product development, manufacturing, R&D, and corporate functions.
ChatGPT Enterprise is positioned for knowledge work including search, analysis, drafting, ideation, and data interpretation, with data protection, access management, and security controls.
Codex is described as supporting code writing, review, and debugging, and also non-technical work such as internal tools, websites, and automated workflows.
OpenAI said Codex now has more than 5 million weekly users, and weekly active users in Korea have increased by nearly 800% since 2026-02-01.
The announcement extends an existing OpenAI-Samsung relationship that had already included work around AI infrastructure and memory semiconductors.

PaddlePaddle published PP-OCRv6 on Hugging Face on June 22, 2026 as a universal OCR family.
The lineup spans three tiers: tiny at 1.5M parameters, small at 7.7M, and medium at 34.5M.
PP-OCRv6_small and PP-OCRv6_medium support 50 languages in one family.
