Vercel Sandbox, Global Availability Expanded
- Vercel Sandbox is now available globally across four regions: iad1, sfo1, cle1, and cdg1.
- iad1 remains the default region, with support for additional Vercel regions planned.
- Region selection is available on all plans; Pro and Enterprise teams can configure failover regions.
- Snapshots remain tied to their creation region and normally require the sandbox to use that region.
- During failover, Vercel automatically loads snapshots across regions.
- Regions can be configured through project settings, the Vercel CLI, or the Sandbox SDK and CLI.
